White-water Rafting Trip : Lt.Col. Harper and MAJ Woodruff led sixteen Cadets to Fayetteville, West Virginia on October 17-18, 2008 for a white-water rafting expedition on the Lower New River. The group camped in cabin tents on Friday night at the North American River Runner base camp, then spent five chilly hours on the river Saturday. All Cadets had wets suits, and we also enjoyed observing "Bridge Day" as dozens of BASE jumpers and rappellers went off the single span bridge that spans the New River Gorge on Hwy 19.
